Maide The Flame & Grill Experience

We went there for a lovely meal on a Wednesday evening. The service was good and friendly, and the restaurant was quite empty. The soup was delicious, especially the lentil soup. The main course was lamb skewers, which were tender and delicious, and my wife had fish. The fish was incredibly flavorful! You can't go wrong with baklava for dessert, of course, but the rice pudding was also very good. If I may offer a small tip, the fries were a bit ordinary. If you're in doubt, go there; I definitely recommend it!

Stylish restaurant with tasty food. The chicken and lamb skewers was delicious, maybe i would change the onions next to it to more green salad, but it’s a chef choice.
Ohh the waitresses was a bit inexperienced, but not cost any problem, just could take the plates out earlier and ask about desert.Pretty good deserts too.
There was live music(Turkish) on Friday too.
Definitely would recommend.

What a wonderful experience at Maide in Tilburg! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm and welcoming. The food was truly fantastic; we ordered a delicious mix of grilled meats, succulent chicken, spicy lamb chops, and perfectly roasted vegetables. Everything was richly seasoned and perfectly prepared, with that authentic charcoal flavor you rarely find elsewhere.

The side dishes topped it all off: freshly baked rolls, a fresh salad with olives and tomatoes, and that delicious onion salad with sumac and parsley. The plate not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious too.

The portions are generous, the flavors pure and refined, and you can tell they've paid attention to every detail. Combined with the friendly service and cozy atmosphere, Maide is definitely a place you'll want to return to.

I highly recommend it to anyone in Tilburg looking for authentic, flavorful, and freshly prepared dishes. I'll definitely be back!

I visited Maide in Tilburg for the extensive breakfast for €17.50 per person, partly because of its positive social media presence. Upon arrival, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, which immediately made a good first impression. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive until that moment.

It was practically empty (one other table occupied), yet it still took over 45 minutes for our breakfast to be served, even though we'd only ordered two Turkish teas. The service was mediocre, although the waitress seemed young and inexperienced, so I don't blame her personally.

When the breakfast finally arrived, it was utterly disappointing. According to the waitress, the plate was meant to be shared between two people, but it was so sparsely and sloppily presented that it looked more like a hastily thrown together children's plate than a proper breakfast. Poorly cut, little variety, and completely out of proportion to the price.

We decided to send the breakfast back (which I rarely do) and received no apology, no explanation, nothing at all. We paid for the tea, but even that felt like too much to ask at the time.

In short: a beautiful interior and strong social media presence, but unfortunately a disappointing experience when it came to service, quality, and value. Such a shame.
